ADDRESS TO ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS’ SOCIETY
An entertaining address on various aspects of contracts was given by Mr E W. White, a former examiner in mercantile law, to members of the Christchurch Accountant Students* Society on Monday evening. Mr White dealt with various provisions of the Sale of Goods Act, and showed how principles of Case Law have been used in this statute to enable a simple code to be defined. He also dealt with obligations arising from contracts of insurance.
