Arrest in Aeroplane.— Two men were arrested last night, during a flight from Los Angeles to Denver, after they had created a disturbance and one had threatened the other with a dinner knife. The passengers were in a panic until a Los Angeles policeman, who was one of the 54 passengers aboard, arrested the pair and radioed the Las Vegas police to meet the aeroplane.—New York, April 16. Explosion Near Lorient.—A violent explosion in training grounds near Lorient killed four naval officers and injured several other persons including Admiral Barthes. Maritime Prefect for the Lorient area, says the British United Press correspondent in Lorient. The explosion is reported to have been caused by the detonation of a percussion cap setting off nearby ammunition. —London, April 15.
