IN the matter of applications for a special review of existing goods-service charges throughout the Dominion consequent on the making by the Court of Arbitration of new Awards relating to the rates of remuneration and conditions of employment of workers in the goods transport industry, the Tribunal, having considered all aspects of the applications, authorises in the charges prescribed in Area Schedules an increase of 4 per cent, and in city, .borough, and town district schedules an increase of 3 per cent., to apply and be operative 'from 1.4.47, ana to apply to all those goods-services tor, w’hich charges have been prescribed tr reviewed by Tribunal up to the date of this decision. They apply also to route service charges. Applications for review of charges fixed by contracts arising out of recent awards of Court of Arbitration will, as mthe case of all other applications in respect of contracts, be dealt with individually. The increases are cumulative on those authorised by Tribunal in its Order of 28.7.45.
