FREE PRESS FOR ITALY
GUARANTEE WRITTEN INTO CONSTITUTION (Rec. 10 p.m.) ROME. April 14. A guarantee of a free press has been written into the Italian- constitution. The Assembly approved a section which read: “Everyone has a right to express freely his thoughts in speech ana writing and any other form of discussion. The press cannot be placed under any authorisation or censorship.”
