FACTORY SHIP AT CAPE TOWN

(Rec. 10 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, April 14. The Norwegian factory whaling ship Kosmos IV, the first of the European whaling ships returning from the Antarctic, has arrived with 100,000 barrels of oil worth £1,600,000. The Kosmos had already sent back 62,000 barrels of oil in tankers and had also produced nearly 6000 bags of whale meat for cattle food in Norway. The master, Captain Anderson, said: “We had a pretty good season, but I have never seen sO few big whajes.” The factory ships Thorshanuner, Willem ?srend£, and the Sir James Clark Ross are all due thia week.
