MR SULLIVAN’S CONDITION
SOME IMPROVEMENT REPORTED The condition of the Minister of Supply (Mr D. G. Sullivan) was reported officially yesterday to have shown some improvement. Mr Sullivan is still under observation in a private hospital in Wellington. The Christchurch City Council last evening expressed sympathy with Mr Sullivan. Cr. J. L. Hay said he well remembered the wonderful work done by Mr Sullivan as Mayor during the depression. All councillors knew of the toll the war had taken of him.
