RETAIL PRICE OF COAL
INCREASE AUTHORISED Authority has been given by the Price Tribunal for arj. increase in the retail price of coal in North Canterbury in accordance with the following scale of increases:— One ton (16 bags), increase Is 9d; half a ton, increase lid; quarter of a ton, increase sd; three-bag lots, increase 4d; two bags, increase 3d; one bag, increase 2d. The North Canterbury Coal Merchants’ and Dealers’ Association will meet to-morrow to make arrangements for the introduction of the new prices.
