WOOLSTON PUBLIC SCHOOL Winners of the boys’ and girls’ championships at the Woolston Public School’s annual swimming sports were G. Gillespie and Lillian Brooks respectively. JR. Townsend was runner-up for the boys’ championship. Jean Hilton ajid Barbara Joyce tied for second place in the girls’ championship. Results of championship events were as follows: Boys.—2s'yards: G. Gillespie 1, D. Borland 2, R. Townsend 3. 50 yards: G. Gillespie 1, R. Townsend 2, F. Hilton 3. 100 yards: G. Gillespie 1, R. Gemmell 2, F. Hilton 3. Girls.—2s yards: Barbara Joyce 1, Jean Hilton 2, Ada Willis 3. 50 yards: Jean Hilton 1, Doreen Clausen 2, Lillian Brooks 3. 100 yards: Lillian Brooks 1, Barbara Joyce 2. '
