Conditions under which photographers will be permitted te work in the Botanic Gardens were fixed by the Christchurch City Council last evening on recommendations from the re. serves end finance committees. Both committees were opposed to granting itinerant photographers unlimited license. Licensed street photographers will be allowed to work in the gardens on the payment of a special fee of 10s a month, and on condition that they work to a roster with not more than one photographer in the gardens on apy one t day. Any photographer will be permitted to take pictures of wedding groups near the kiosk, provided that it is done by appointment- with the wedding party.
