Mr and Mrs H. W. Walker ..(Avonside, Christchurch) have much, pleas-, ure in announcing the engagement of their eldest daughter, Anne Cecilia, to Maxwell Claude, only son of Mr R. G. Beverley and the late Mrs M. Beverley, of Caversham, Dunedin.
Mr and Mrs G. Pitt (Redcliffs) wish to announce the engagement of their only daughter, Dorothy Joyce, to Russell Thomas, youngest son of Mr J. Miles and the late Mrs Miles, Woodham road, Linwood. Mr and Mrs G. N. Harrison, of Mayfield, wish to announce the engagement of their second daughter, June, to lan, second son of Mr and Mrs I. H. Mathieson, of Invercargill. The engagement is announced of Helen May, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Pruden, of 14 Smith street, Frankton Junction, and Ray William, youngest son of Mrs A. J. Gardner and the late Mr W. Gardner, of Woodend road, Rangiora.
The engagement is announced of Edward Herbert, eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. Bunny, Ollivier’s road, Christchurch, and Lucilla Catherine Barrett, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs S. B. Power, Wattle street, New Lynn.
