BRETTON WOODS AGREEMENT
RATIFICATION BY N.Z. EXPECTED
(Special Correspondent--N.Z.P.A.) (Rec. 8 p.m.) LQNDON, March 17. The “Economist” quotes a passage from the recent annual report of the Governor of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia which states: "Nothing is more certain than that in this atomic world self-regarding nationalism will be the surest road w to destruction of all things that constitute national interest.” It comments that this very wise counsel is at last being heeded.
