GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF SUDAN
RETIREMENT SHORTLY (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON. March 15. The Foreign Office stated that as the Governor-General of the Sudan (Sir H. Huddlestone) has for some time desired, because of prolonged service and age, to retire, the British Government is in contact with the Egyptian Government regarding the appointment of a successor.
