The peace treaties for the Axis satellite countries will be signed in Paris on February 10. The principal territorial changes in the treaties are as follows: ITALY.—Trieste (1) is taken from Italy and made a "Free Territory," and the new Italian-Jugoslav border places most of Venezia Giulia inside Jugoslavia. Alpine border regions (2) are ceded to France, and the Dodecanese (3) to Greece. RUMANIA.—Cession of Bukovina and Bessarabia (4) to Russia is confirmed. BULGARIA.—Southern Dobruja (5) is obtained from Rumania. HUNGARY—-Small border area (6) is ceded to Czechoslovakia and part of Transylvania (7) to Russia. FINLAND.—Cession of port and province of Petsamo (8) to Russia is confirmed. Porkkala (9) is leased to Russia. The principle of free navigation on the Danube (10) was agreed upon.
