CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 23. The New Zealand croquet championships were continued at Lower Hutt and Petone to-day in perfect weather. Most of the better players are making substantial breaks, and the games are most interesting. Players on form are La Roche (Wanganui), W. H. Kirk (Geraldine), C. Bryan (Lower Hutt), and Mrs' Watkins (Hastings). Results:— Doubles C.
