Buckingham Palace Staff Ball.— Nearly 500 members of the staff at Buckingham Palace attended the annual staff dance in the servants' hall. The King had the first dance, a quickstep with the daughter of the Queen’s page. Princess Elizabeth was partnered by a cellarman and Princess Margaret danced with a footman. In an eiahtsome reel the King and the two Princesses formed a set which included Princess Elizabeth’s footman and maid. —London, January 22.
