Temperatures becoming WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Moderate or fresh north-west winds predominating. Weather overcast with occasional rain developing from the south. Temperatures mild. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather yesterday was fine, with a light south-west Wind in the morning and a moderate easterly later. The maximum temperature was 63.9 degrees. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was overcast with a moderate easterly wind. The barometer, steady, registered 29.92 inches (1013.2 millibars).
