GRAMMAR SCHOOL OLD BOYS
ELECTION OF OFFICERS The performances of pupils of the Cathedral Grammar School last year in education and athletics had been very creditable, said the headmaster of the school (Mr R. R. Gibson), at the twenty-second annual meeting of the Old Boys’ and Choir Association which was held at Christchurch recently. There was a large attendance of old boys. The following officers were elected: —president, Mr C. C. Maddren; vicepresident, Mr R. R. Maddren; secretary, Mr D. L. Manhire; assistant secretary, Mr H. Debenhem; treasurer, Mr B. F. Bicknell; committee, Messrs H. S. Hobbs, B. S. Williams, R. Harris, M. L. Newman, O. C. Abbott, L. C. Hibbard, G. S. Gardner. E. R. FieldDodson, D. Pinfold; Cathedral Grammar School Board representatives, Dr. D. E. Hansen, Mr H. S. Hobbs, Mr C. S. Hammond.
