ALMOND PASTE
Sir,— A short time ago a notice appeared m your paper regarding a cer+uin almond paste which had been on the market in Auckland, which it was thought not safe to use. I have a packet of nut paste, almond-flavoured which I wish to put on a birthday cake this week. Could you advise me if this almond paste, manufactured in Christchurch, would be quite safe to use?—Yours, etc., T INQUIRER. January 20, 1947.
