STOCK EXCHANGES ACTIVITY IN DUNLOP ISSUES Dunlop (New’ Zealand) ordinary and preference stock maintained recent prices on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Dunlop Australia were quoted higher with a reported .sale of 150 shares at 34s 3d. Thirty-five Union Bank shares changed hands at an increased price of £l2 9s, but Dalgety’s eased 2s 6d to £lO ss. Both issues of Felt and Textiles were dealt in, but the Australasian Stock was 6d lower than a previous reported sale at 61s 6d. Sydney Attributes of a normal market wen displayed on the Sydney Stock Exchange yesterday when a wide range of share: changed hands at fluctuating prices. Since the controls were entirely removed or Monday some shares have tended to edg< back while others have forged ahead, bu the general trend yesterday was toward: weakening.
