CORSO AID TO CHINA
RETURN OF WORKERS FROM GREECE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 20. While all CORSO’s New Zealand relief workers in Greece, except some key persons, who had been specially asked to remain, would be returning during the next few months, other New Zealanders would be proceeding under CORSO to China, some to serve in mission and other hospitals and in various technical and organising capacities and others to work with Mr Rewi Alley in training village leaders for the industrial cooperatives, says a statement issued by the Council of the Organisations for Relief Service Overseas. The council announces the appointment of Mr A. M. Richards as organiser of CORSO appeals for aid to China in place of Mr Jarnos M. Bertram, who resigned to go to America.
