(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, January 8. On December 14 the marriage took place at St. Martin’s, Dorking, of Lieutenant (Sp.) Eric Manly Sicely, R.N.Z.N.V.R., elder son of Mr and Mrs A. C. M. Sicely, of Marton, and Diana Deryl Bouquet, daughter of Mr and Mrs B. P. Bouquet, of Pound House, Dorking.
The marriage took place quietly in London on December 20 of Arthur E. Porritt, Wanganui, and Kathleen Mary Peck, second daughter of the late A. S. Peck and of Mrs Windley, of Spalding, Lincolnshire. The marriage took place on December 13, at St. Augustine’s, Queen’s Gate, London. 5.W.7. of Hans H. von Euen, of Connecticut, U.S.A., and Jessica Eleanor Durrad, third daughter of the Rev. W. J. and Mrs Durrad, of Wellington. The engagement is announced of Walter A. Graham Kerr (Trentham and Ngaruawahia), younger son of Professor Sir John Graham Kerr. F.R.S., M.P., of Barley, Royston, Herts, and Muriel Newton, of Bankside, London, younger daughter of the late Mr and Mrs W. E. Newton, of Upminster. On January 4, at Merton House, Clare, Suffolk, the death occurred of Edith Frances Dean, widow of William Senior Dean, of the Bank of England, and daughter of John Bridges, of Wellington.
