SOLDIERS TO BE RELEASED
BRITISH RELD BY JUGOSLAVS (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) BELGRADE, Jan. 10. The Jugoslav authorities have informed the British Embassy that four British soldiers who have been detained since August 12, 1946, August 24, 1946, and September 11, 1946, respectively, after straying into Jugoslav territory, will be released within 48 hours and allowed to return to their units in Austria. A fifth British soldier arrested several days ago after crossing the Aus-trian-Jugoslav border will also be released immediately.
