GRANT TO CRIPPLED CHILDREN SOCIETY (P.A.) WELLINGTON. December 17. Seventeen branches throughout the Dominion of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society are to benefit, by the decision of the Nuffield Trust" to allocate the sum of £2500 for annual distribution. ** At a meeting of the trustees the balance-sheet disclosed a capital trust fund of £69.140 7s, white there was in addition cash to the crefait of the current account at the Bank of New Zealand of £77 12s sd. From the accumulated surplus of £2566 9s 2d it was decided to allocate £2500 to the Crippled Children Society. General expenses of the trust amounted to the small sum of 3s 3d, and after the allocation of £2500 to the society there remains an excess of income over expenditure of £47 9s 7d.
