Motor-Car Fails to Stop.—A motorcar which was involved in a collision with a tram on Riccarton road near Puriri street at 10.47 o’clock on Monday evening failed to stop after the accident, although it was believed to have been fairly extensively damaged. The tram was slightly damaged near the emergency door on the right of the motorman. It is believed by the police, who are making inquiries, that the mudguards on the right side of the car were damaged, and that the windscreen was possibly broken.
