Minor Fires. —The Christchurch Fire Brigade was called to two fires in the city yesterday. The first occurred at 11.5 a.m. on an empty section at 76 Wright’s road, where grass had caught fire. The second outbreak occurred on premises at 131 Antigua street, occupied by James Pett. A detached shed j used as a workshop had caught alight. There was slight damage to the roof and walls.
