Sir, —Mr Seward strikes me as absurdly illogical. The church (and therefore he) is rabidly- pro-Franco; the trades unions are. no doubt, as rabidly pro-people. My point is that neither side can deny the right of the other to act in support of its views. Mr Seward, from his letters, would have only one side—his own.—Yours, etc., WHYNOT. December 17, 1946.
