ISSUE OF WRITS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 31. Writs for the General Election are to be issued to returning officers on November 6, the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Eraser) announced last night Supplementary rolls will close at 6 p.m. on the same day and the dissolution of Parliament will precede the issue of the writs by a shqrt time.
The writs will also fix the nomination day, which, according to the provisions in the Electoral Act, will be from 10 to 17 days before election day, November 27.,
