TO-DAY’S PROSPECTS '* The Press ’ Special Service AUCKLAND, Sept. 20. The weather has been fine and warm to-day, and the outlook appears favourable for the Thames Jockey Club’s spring meeting at Thames to-morrow. Some inteersting racing seems to be in prospect. Even though many of the horses have dual engagements, it is practically certain that the Trial Handicap will have to be run in two divisions. The betting will be under the win and place system. The favourites may include:—• 11.15 a.m.—Hikutaia Hurdles: Te Kawiti, Royal View, Sir Grant. 11.55 a.m.—Ngatea Hack Handicap: Lionine, Kenwyn, Declaim. / 12.35 p.m.—Trial Handicap: First division, Bonny March, Venturous, Fox? fable; second division, Duncan, Yusuf, Chief Robin. 1.25 p.m.—Thames Hack Cup: Chaka, Ostentatious, Jayquil. 2.15 p.m.—President’s Handicap: Tweedamuir, King’s Pride, Billy Peach. 2.55 p.m.—Borough Hack Handicay: Grey Moments, Golden One, Ballina. '3.45 p.m.—Stewards’ Handicap: Ray’s Pal, Horonui, Gavinmor. 4.35 p.m.—Parawai Hack Handicap: Lionine, kenwyn, Hunting Camp.
