BREAKING AND ENTERING CHARGE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 20. When hia Suspicions were aroused by men engaged in some activity at the loading platform of a warehouse in Lornfe street last night, a man who had been visiting friends in the street notified the police. Patrol cars were notified and It was discovered that the warehouse had been broken into and 27 bags of sugar stolen. From information given by the spectator an arrest was made early this morning The man appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day charged with breaking and eh taring the warehouse of Moore, Wilson, and Company,*Ltd., Lome street, and committing theft. In asking for a remand till Wednesday, Senior-Detective E. H. Compton said further inquiries were being made.
