OF BRANCH OFFICERS
The annual meeting of the Canter-bury-Westland branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (Inc.) was held recently. The president (Mr A. R. Sherris) presideci over a good attendance of members. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr A. R. Sherris; committee. Messrs L. Baker, R. Burgess, R. A. Collie. N. G. Hillary, C. E. Hoy, G. J. Leech. N. H. McCrostie, H. T. Penrose, B. H. Sluis. J. Wallace. D. Wilson M. Wilson. F. W. White.
Mr T. H. Langford, Public Relations Officer of the Cnristchurch City Council, addressed members on the future industrial development of Canterbury, making particular reference to the provision of suitable industrial sites for proposed factories.
