WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. “Will-the Minister of Defence make a statement to the House about the Government’s plans for the future use and development of Wigram aerodroirie?” asked Mr J. T. Watts (Opposition, Riccarton), in notice of a ques-, tion in the House of Representatives to-day. “People in Canterbury, and particularly in Christchurch, are very concerned as to the Government’s plans'for the future of the aerodrome, the land for which was giwn by Sir Henry Wigram for aviation purposes,” said Mr Watts.
