TRIAL OF BRITISH PARATROOPS
(Rec. 8.45 p.m.) LONDON, August. 20. “Company Sergeant-Major O’Briea, who gave evidence for the prosecution last Friday in the court-martial of the 263 paratroops charged with mutiny, is now in hospital in Malacca with a fractured skull,” says the Singapore correspondent of “The Times.” “O Brien staggered into military police headquarters last Saturday night with several deep • cuts inflicted by a sharp weapon.”
