Canterbury Pig Council.—Mr G. Turley has been nominated bv the Temuka branch of the Farmers’ Federation to represent South Canterbury on the Canterbury Pig Council. Dry Spell Broken at Reefton.— The dry spell of weather in the Reef ton district was broken yesterday when rain commenced to fall in steady showers early in the morning. Twerttythree points of rain were recorded up to 9 a.m.
