BEAUTY IN BOTANIC GARDENS

Sir, —May I write to tell .of the.wonder of the Botanic Gardens at this present time? The beauty is really extraordinary. There is an avenue of golden trees by the rock garden. Limps, planes, elms, and gingkos are resplendent in their glory—a special tree, Lonicera, i§ reflected in the tiny lake. If only people could know that the Riccarton car route h?d a stop at an entrance, so many more may appreciate the beauty that awaits them there.—Yours, etc., C O L OUR • May 7, 1946.
