Dunedin City Trading.—Net surpluses in city trading departments fell from £97,708 to £45,-628 in the year, it was reported to a meeting of the Dunedin City Council on Monday evening. It was pointed out that one of the major factors in the decrease was an increase of 3sd ah hour in salaries and wages, which was made retrospective to April, 1944.—(PAJ
