MR C. W. A. SCOTT, the famous airman, who committed suicide by shooting himself at the headquarters of UNRRA at Arolsen. Germany, on April 15. Both Military Government and UNRRA officials declined to comment on the motive for Mr Scott’s suicide, or to give the reason why the death was not announced earlier. Mr Scott was 43 years of age. With Mr T. Campbell-Black, he won the Eng-land-Australia air race in 1934.— London, May 4.
