Fire in Chemist’s Shop.—The Christchurch Fire Brigade was called to an outbreak of fire at the back of a retail chemist’s shop at 378 Ferry road about •7.30 o’clock last evening. The occupant of the shop is Mr E. J. Miles. It was stated that the fire caused a fair amount of darnage, but the extent of the losses had not been determined last night.
