The launch Annie is * feet long. A Hudson aircraft from Whenuapa was out all day to-day searching the boat, and the crews of the ma. aeroplanes passing back and i<” were asked to keep a look-out. Local fishermen have expressed opinion that if engine trouble was ej perienced the launch drifted as far as 120 miles off the CO x with the north-east wind Arrangements have been maa« * an extensive search to morrow, two aircraft, a Hudson and a Catan will cover 100 square miles.
