CATCHMENT BOARD’S CONFERENCE
A conference of New Zealand Catchment Boards will be held in Christchurch in May. The North Canterbury Catchment Board, at its meeting yesterday, made tentative arrngements for the conference. The date has not been fixed, but it was hoped that a midweek session would be decided upon. A special committee to make detailed arrangements for the conference was elected as follows: —Messrs W. Machin (chairman), H. B. Anderson. L. W. McCaskill. H. W. Harris, and E. Gibson. .
