AMURI A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
Mr J. N. Boag presided over a good attendance of members of the general committee of the Amuri Agricultural and Pastoral Association at#a meeting in the Rotherham Hall on Monday evening.
The committee decided to alter the date of the show to Tuesday. March 26, to avoid clashing with the Oxford show and the sports at Waikari on the previously arranged date of April 6.
A letter was received from the association’s solicitors reporting that the purchase of the section, next the Rotherham Domain for a showgrounds had been completed, and it was detided to have a working bee on the grounds and domain. The grounds committee had already been active and had saved a quantity of white clover seed from the new section. Marshals, who were to appoint their own stewards, were nominated to all sections.
