Fat Stock Consignments.—-A feature of the consignments of livestock from West Coast farms to the Canterbury markets and freezing works this week is the large number of sheep and larhbs compared with the number of cattle. Seventy-one trucks of sheep and lambs were railed and only two trucks of cattle. This indicates that the fat cattle market has almpst ended this season so far as the West Coast is concerned.
