Posts with UNRRA Some time ago the Christchurch branch of the Returned Services’ Association entered a protest about the appointment of others than returned personnel to posts with CORSO and Yesterday the secretary (Mr L. A. McKenzie) received, through •headquarters schedules of duties for about 30 positions with UNRRA. applications for which close on Tuesday. Mr McKenzie said returned servicemen would be grateful for the opportunity to apply, but very short notice had been given. Among the departments for which officers were required were medical, administration, sales, civil and sanitary engineering. camp management, accountancy, audit, supply. transport, foreman mechanic, and lodging specialist. Any returned personnel interested should make immediate inquiry, since applications would have to go forward by Monday evening. The range of salaries was £BOO to £l6OO.
