VISIT BY AUSTRALIAN MINISTER
HON. E. WARD TO ARRIVE TO-MORROW
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 14. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. W. Nash), announced to-day that at the Government’s invitation the Hon. E. Ward, Minister of External Territories and Minister of Transport in Australia, would pay a visit to New Zealand this month. The main jpur- ' pose was to discuss informally with members of the Government various questions of mutual interest relating to the welfare of native peoples in Pacific territories. Mr Ward also proposed to take the opportunity of discussing transport matters. He would arrive in Auckland on February 16 and would go to Wellington by car. He expected to remain in New Zealand for 10 days.
