WELLINGTON TRANSPORT DISPUTE STOP WORK MEETING CANCELLED

WELLINGTON, Feb 18The stop work meeting called by tne Wellington Drivers’ Union for tomorrow morning has been canceller after all day negotiations. to-day for ® settlement of the transport dispute. ’ Men employed by Munt Cottrell and ' Co. Ltd., who have been on strike ! since last Friday, will go back to war* to- morrow morning. The firm _ has : reinstated the driver whose dismiss*” created the dispute. The agreement averts the danger a shortage of coal for gas manufacture, and consequent rationing of pas, at one stage was contemplated.
