EQUAL RIGHTS FOR WOMEN IN FRANCE CN.Z Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) PARIS, Feb. 13. Frenchwomen will be given equal rights with Frenchmen under France’s new constitution. The constituent commission has adopted an article that all men are equal in law and it is guaranteed that women shall enjoy equal rights with men in every sphere. French wives hitherto, unless married under a special clause, were unable to make contracts without their husbands’ signatures.
