Public Service Salaries.—Dissatisfaction at the Government’s delay in dealing with the report of the consultative committee which recently prepared new salary scales for the Public Service, was' expressed in a resolution passed at a recent meeting of the Hanmer Springs sub-section of the Public Service Association. . The meeting, which was addressed by the chairman of the Canterbury section (Mr E. K. Braybrooke), also gave an assurance of continued Funnort to the executive committee of the Public Service Association in its efforts to obtain finality on the question.
