NASSELLA TUSSOCK FOUND NEAR CHRISTCHURCH.—The discovery that nassella tussock has become established on farm land close to Christchurch was made during the week-end by a member of the staff of Lincoln College. ABOVE: Some of the tussocks that were growing on grazing land in the old bed of the Waimakariri river. BELOW: Some of the seedling nassella plants which were found growing over an area of 50 square yards round the parent tussocks.
