RUSSIANS STILL KEEP CORRESPONDENTS OUT LONDON, January 6. The Russians maintain their refusal tc permit foreign correspondents to enter the north Persian province of Azerbaijan, says the Teheran correspondent of the Associated Press. Meanwhile Persian Intelligence reports an outbreak of “counter-revolu-tionary activity.” resulting in fighting round the towns of Maineh. Maragheh. and Malikkandi. “Partisans and nationalists” are referred to.
