HORORATA R.C. TO-MORROW’S PROSPECTS Th ® Hororata Racing Club, which during the war years combined wih the Amberley and North Canterbury Racing Clubs in the annual Labour Day meeting at Rangiora, will revert to its own programme to-morrow. Because the clubs own course at Hororata is still in use by tne military authorities, the club obtained permission to race on the MotuKarara racecourse, and although the fixture is oemg held close to the just concluded New Zealand Victory Cup meeting and to the approaching holiday racing, a wellcarc* will be presented to patrons. The popularity of the Motukarara course and grounds was shown by the large attendance at the Banks Peninsula Hacing club s meeting last month, and it is confidently expected that a similar gathering will assemble to-morrow. The course is reported to be in excellent oraftfr the recent rain, and patrons can look forward to an enjoyable afternoon s racing. ' Pfovisjon itas been made to run both the Trial Plate and Novice Stakes in two divisions, but it is hoped that there will be enough withdrawals from both laces to make this arrangement unnecessary. There will, however, be two divisions in the Glendore Trot. The programme will mostly be confined to hacks, open race the H. A. Knight Memorial Handicap.
