H.M.S. INDEFATIGABLE AT AUCKLAND
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. December 12. The aircraft : carrier Indefatigable, with the destroyers Urchin and Wizard, arrived at Auckland this morning at 11 o'clock. Large crowds on the waterfront watched the ships arrive. It is estimated that during the visit of the Indefatigable and her escorting destroyers about 1500 of the coirbined crews win be on leave in Auckland daily, if the weather is fine on Friday there will be a march of personnel from the three visiting ships, and H.M.N.Z-S. Gambia. Philomel, and Tamaki. To relieve pressure on existing service clubs, the city council has established a special naval club in the suppep room of the town hall.
